Made: 5th November 1987

Coming into force: 3rd December 1987

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001] and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.

This Order shall come into force on 3rd December 1987 and may be cited as the A41 London—Birmingham Trunk Road (Bicester Bypass) Order 1987.

THE SCHEDULE — ROUTE OF THE NEW TRUNK ROAD AT BICESTER IN THE COUNTY OF OXFORD

A route about 1.32 kilometres in length starting in the form of a roundabout centred on the A421 Oxford Road about 350 metres south west of its junction with Middleton Stoney Road (A4095) and proceeding in a south easterly direction to the south of Bicester to end at a point on the Trunk Road opposite its junction with the access to Rodney House, Bicester.
