Coming into Force: 23rd January 1987

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by paragraph 3(3) of Schedule 1 to the European Assembly Elections Act 1978[^f00002], I hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the European Assembly Elections (Day of By-election) (Midlands West Constituency) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 23rd January 1987.

The by-election to fill the vacancy in the European Assembly constituency of Midlands West shall be held on 5th March 1987.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order appoints 5th March 1987 as the day on which the by-election to fill the vacancy in the European Assembly constituency of Midlands West shall be held.
