The Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Amendment Order 1987

Made: 12th March 1987

Coming into force: 31st March 1987

The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 13(1) and 42(1) of the Valuation and Rating (Scotland) Act 1956[^f00001], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Amendment Order 1987 and shall come into force on 31st March 1987.

The entry in column 2 of the Schedule to the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Order 1984[^f00002] relating to the last date for the disposal by a valuation appeal committee of appeals and complaints mentioned in column 1 of that Schedule shall be amended by substituting for the words “31st March in the year following” the words “31st March in the second year following”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the entry in the Schedule to the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Order 1984 which contains the timetable for the disposal by valuation appeal committees of appeals and complaints against entries in a valuation roll.

The Order extends the period for the disposal of such appeals and complaints by one year.
