Her Majesty in pursuance of section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894[^f00001] is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Anguilla) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 8th July 1987.

The Merchant Shipping (Registry) Ordinance, 1986[^f00002] is hereby confirmed.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order, made under section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894, confirms a Law enacted by the House of Assembly of Anguilla which repeals, in relation to the registration of ships in Anguilla, certain provisions of Part I of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894 regarding such registration.
