The Community Drivers' Hours (Passenger and Goods Vehicles) (Temporary Exception) (Revocation) Regulations 1987

The Secretary of State for Transport, being a Minister designated[^f00001] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[^f00002] in relation to the regulation and supervision of the working conditions of persons engaged in road transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by that section, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

These Regulations may be cited as the Community Drivers' Hours (Passenger and Goods Vehicles) (Temporary Exception) (Revocation) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 2nd February 1987.

• (1) The Community Drivers' Hours (Passenger and Goods Vehicles) (Temporary Exception) Regulations 1987[^f00003] are hereby revoked.

• (2) On and after 2nd February 1987 no account shall be taken of any time spent driving or on duty before that date for the purpose of the application of Articles 6, 8 or 9 of Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3820/85 of 20th December 1985 on the harmonisation of certain social legislation relating to road transport[^f00004].
