The Secretary of State for Transport, being a Minister designated[^f00001] for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972[^f00002] in relation to the regulation and supervision of the working conditions of persons engaged in road transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by that section, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

These Regulations may be cited as the Community Drivers' Hours (Passenger and Goods Vehicles) (Temporary Exception) (Revocation) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 2nd February 1987.
