The Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Fees) Order 1988
Made: 11th January 1988
Laid before Parliament: 19th January 1988
Coming into force: 1st March 1988
In pursuance of sections 18(1) and 24(2) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Fees) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st March 1988.
- (2) This Order shall not extend to Scotland.

The fee payable under paragraph 18 of Schedule 3 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976[^f00002] (which relates to permits for the commercial provision of amusements with prizes) shall, instead of £8.50, be £25.

The Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Fees) Order 1982[^f00003] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order increases in England and Wales the fee payable to a local authority or other appropriate authority on the grant or renewal of a permit for amusements with prizes provided under section 16 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.
