The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 67(3) of the Local Government Act 1985[^f00001], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body (Winding Up) (Amendment) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 10th October 1988.

In article 11 of the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body (Winding Up) Order 1988[^f00002] there shall be inserted before the figures “1988” the words “31st October”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order inserts the date 31st October 1988 in article 11 (functions relating to accounts of the Residuary Body) of the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body (Winding Up) Order 1988 (S.I. 1988/1590), making good the omission of a date from that article.
