In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 50(2) of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1988.

The provisions of Part III of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987, together with section 50(4) to (7) of that Act, so far as not already in force, shall come into force on 1st January 1989.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 1st January 1989 the provisions of Part III of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 and the remainder of section 50(4) to (7) of that Act.
