Made: 10th February 1988

Coming into force: 14th February 1988

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1 and 4(4) of the Rates Act 1984 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Title and Commencement

This Order may be cited as the Precept Limitation (Prescribed Maximum) (West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 14th February 1988.

Prescription of maximum precept

There is hereby prescribed under section 1 of the Rates Act 1984, for the financial year beginning on 1st April 1988, as the maximum precept for the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority the amount of 24.82 pence in the pound.
