Coming into force: 1st April 1988

The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52(1) and 60(1) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981([^f00001]), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of the said Act 1981([^f00002]) hereby makes the following Regulations:

These Regulations may be cited at the Public Service Vehicles (London Local Service Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 1st April 1988.

In regulations 12(1) of the Public Service Vehicles (London Local Services Licences) Regulations 1986([^f00003]), for “£50” there shall be substituted “£100”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These regulations amend the Public Service Vehicles (London Local Services Licences) Regulations 1986 by increasing the fee payable on the application for a London local service licence under part II of the Transport Act 1985 from £50 to £100.
