Coming into force: 12th April 1988

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 130 of the Supreme Court Act 1981[^f00001], with the concurrence of the Lord Chief Justice, the Master of the Rolls, the President of the Family Division, the Vice-Chancellor and the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order—

This Order may be cited as the Supreme Court Fees (Amendment) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 12th April 1988.

After Fee No. 16 (d) in the Schedule to the Supreme Court Fees Order 1980[^f00002] there shall be inserted the following fees—

e On an application to register a judgment under the Merchant Shipping (Liner Conferences) Act 1982[^f00003] £10 The affidavit
f On an application to register an order under the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986[^f00004] £10 The affidavit
g On an application to register a custody order under Part I of the Family Law Act 1986[^f00005] £10 The affidavit

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Supreme Court Fees Order 1980, as amended, by introducing new fees payable on applications relating to the registration of orders and judgments under the Merchant Shipping (Liner Conferences) Act 1982, the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 and the Family Law Act 1986. The fee is of the same amount as that now payable on similar applications under other statutes.
