Made: 7th March 1988

Coming into force: 22nd April 1988

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

For the purpose of connecting the trunk road with another highway, so as to effect a junction at the place stated in the Schedule to this Order, the Secretary of State is authorised to construct along the routes described in that Schedule new highways. Those new highways shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The centre lines of the new highways are indicated by heavy black lines on the deposited plan.

In this Order

This Order shall come into force on 22nd April 1988 and may be cited as the A604 Catthorpe — Harwich Trunk Road (Kettering to Thrapston Section and Slip Roads) Supplementary Order 1988.

THE SCHEDULE — ROUTES OF THE NEW HIGHWAYS

Four routes to connect the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the trunk road with the Ringstead and Denford Bypass, as proposed to be constructed by the Northamptonshire County Council, in the parish of Thrapston, in the County of Northamptonshire, which are given the reference numbers i,ii,iii and iv respectively in the deposited plan.
