The (A1) London—Edinburgh—Thurso Trunk Road (Newcastle Western Bypass and Slip Roads) Order 1986 (Variation) Order 1988

Coming into force: 15th February 1988
The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10 and 41 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The (A1) London—Edinburgh—Thurso Trunk Road (Newcastle Western Bypass and Slip Roads) Order 1986[^f00003] is hereby varied so that in article 3, for the words “the date when the new trunk roads are open to traffic.” are substituted the words “1st April 1988”.

This Order shall come into force on 15th February 1988 and may be cited as the (A1) London—Edinburgh—Thurso Trunk Road (Newcastle Western Bypass and Slip Roads) Order 1986 (Variation) Order 1988.
