Made: 6th December 1989
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 30(3) of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act (Commencement No. 2) Order 1989.
- (2) This Order does not extend to Northern Ireland.

The provisions of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 mentioned in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 1st January 1990.
SCHEDULE — PROVISIONS OF THE ANIMALS (SCIENTIFIC PROCEDURES) ACT 1986 COMING INTO FORCE ON 1ST JANUARY 1990

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order, which does not extend to Northern Ireland, brings into force on 1st January 1990, those provisions of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 which are not already in force.
