At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 19th day of December 1989 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, and by virtue of the authority conferred upon Her by section 159 of the said Act, is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Copyright (Application to Other Countries)(No. 2) (Amendment) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 29th January 1990.

The Copyright (Application to Other Countries) (No. 2) Order 1989 [^f00002]shall be amended by the inclusion in Schedule 2 thereto (which names the countries enjoying full protection for sound recordings) of “India,” between the words “Guatemala” and “Indonesia”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Copyright (Application to Other Countries) (No. 2) Order 1989 to include India in the list of countries which enjoy full protection for sound recordings.
