Laid before Parliament: 20th March 1989

Coming into force: 10th April 1989

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 17(5), 37(1) and 42 of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986( [^f00001]) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations:

In regulation 28(2) of the principal Regulations—

In Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations—

(8A) There shall be a deduction in respect of amounts payable or estimated to be payable in the 12 months following the application by the person concerned in respect of community charge and community water charges as defined in section 26(1), and the rate as defined in section 26(2), of the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987( [^f00003]),

and

leviable before 1 April 1989 in Scotland and 1 April 1990 in England and Wales
