The Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 16) Order 1989

Coming into force: 12th June 1989

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33(3) of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975[^f00001] (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after giving those persons affected an opportunity of being heard with respect to the matter, hereby makes the following Order:–

This Order may be cited as the Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 16) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 12th June 1989.

For the purposes of Part III of the Act, each person specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto is hereby designated as the owner of the pipe-lines described in Part II of the Schedule hereto.

• Canadian Superior Oil (UK) Ltd., whose registered office is at Mobil Court, 3 Clements Inn, London WC2A 2EB.

• Acre Petroleum Ltd., whose registered office is at Rivermill House, 152 Grosvenor Road, London SW1V 3JL.

• Deminex (UK) Oil and Gas Limited whose registered office is at Bowater House, 68 Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7LD.

• Fina Exploration Ltd., whose registered office is at Petrofina House, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 5AD.

• LASMO North Sea P.L.C., whose registered office is at Bastion House, 140 London Wall, London EC2Y 5DN.

• Phillips Petroleum Company United Kingdom Ltd., whose registered office is at Phillips Quadrant, 35 Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey GU22 7QT.

• Elf Oil and Gas (UK) Ltd., whose registered office is at 10 Babmaes Street, London SW1Y 6HE.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates the companies listed in Part I of the Schedule as owners of the pipe-lines described in Part II of the Schedule, which lie above the Hewett gasfield situated east of the coast of Norfolk.
