The London-Portsmouth Trunk Road A3 (Liphook-Ham Barn Section Slip Roads) (Part 1) Order 1988, Amendment Order 1990

Coming into force: 1st July 1990

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 41 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The London-Portsmouth Trunk Road A3 (Liphook-Ham Barn Section Slip Roads) (Part 1) Order 1988[^f00003] (hereinafter referred to as the “principal order”) is amended as follows:—

• (a) in article 2 of the principal order, for the words “deposited plan”, there shall be substituted the words “depositedplan or the further deposited plan”;

• (b) in article 4 of the principal order,after sub-paragraph (i), there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph —

(i) A “the further deposited plan” means the plan numbered RSE A3/6B/65/2/31, marked “The London-Portsmouth Trunk Road A3 (Liphook-Ham Barn Section Slip Roads) (Part 1) Order 1988, Amendment Order 1990”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, SW1P 3PY;

and

• (c) in the Schedule to the principal order, for the words and numbers “reference numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the deposited plan”, there shall be substituted the words and numbers “reference number 1 on the deposited plan, reference number 2 on the further deposited plan and reference numbers 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the deposited plan”.

The heavy black line which is given the reference number “2” on the deposited plan shall be disregarded.

This Order shall come into force on 1st July 1990 and may be cited as the London-Portsmouth Trunk Road A3 (Liphook-Ham Barn Section Slip Roads) (Part 1) Order 1988, Amendment Order 1990.
