The Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 2) Order 1990

Coming into force: 1st July 1990

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33(3) of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975[^f00001] (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after giving those persons affected an opportunity of being heard with respect to the matter, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 2) Order 1990 and shall comeinto force on 1st July 1990.

For the purposes of Part III of the Act, each person specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto is herebydesignated as the owner of the pipe-lines described in Part II of the Schedule hereto.

PART I — DESIGNATED OWNERS

• Britoil p.l.c., whose registered office is at 301 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5DD.

• Chevron U.K. Limited, whose registered office is at 2 Portman Street, London W1H 0AN.

• Enterprise Petroleum Ltd., whose registered office is at 5 Strand, London WC2N 5HU.

• LASMO North Sea p.l.c., whose registered office is at Bastion House, 140 London Wall, London EC2Y 5JT.

• Murphy Petroleum Ltd., whose registered office is at Winston House, Dollis Park, Finchley, London N3 1HZ.

• Ocean Exploration Co. Limited, whose registered office is at Winston House, Dollis Park, Finchley, London N3 1HZ.

• Ranger Oil (U.K.) Limited, whose registered office is at Ranger House, 71 Great Peter Street, London SW1P 2BN.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates those persons listed in Part I of the Schedule as owners of the pipe-lines described in Part II of the Schedule. The pipe-lines are all within the Ninian Field which lies to the North-East of the coast of Scotland.
