The Charge Limitation (England) (Maximum Amount) Order 1990

Made: 12th July 1990

Coming into force in accordance with article 1

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, after considering all such information he thinks is relevant, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 104(2) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Charge Limitation (England) (Maximum Amount) Order 1990 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Interpretation

In this Order “the Act” means the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

Maximum amount

The amount which the amount calculated by the Council of the London Borough of Hillingdon in relation to the year beginning with 1st April 1990 under section 95(4) of the Act is not to exceed is £141,700,000, which amount does not exceed the amount already calculated by that authority in relation to that year under the said section 95(4).

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order states the amount which the amount calculated by the Council of the London Borough of Hillingdon in relation to the chargeable financial year beginning with 1st April 1990 under section 95 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 is not to exceed.
