Coming into force in accordance with article 1
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 106(2) and (5) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Charge Limitation (England) (Maximum Amount) (No. 2) Order 1990 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
Interpretation

In this Order “the Act” means the Local Government Finance Act 1988.
Maximum amounts

The amount which the amount calculated by an authority shown in the Schedule to this Order in relation to the year beginning with 1st April 1990 under section 95(4) of the Act is not to exceed is the amount shown against the name of the authority in that Schedule, which amount is the amount stated in the notice to the authority under section 102(1)(c) of the Act.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order states the amount which the amount calculated by each of the charging authorities listed in the Schedule to the Order in relation to the chargeable financial year beginning with 1st April 1990 under section 95(4) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 is not to exceed.
