The Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) (Amendment) Order 1990

Coming into force: 19th February 1990

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1 and 86(1) of the Animal Health Act 1981[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 19th February 1990.

Amendment

The Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) Order 1989[^f00002] shall be amended as follows —

• (a) article 12 (Public inspection of register) shall be omitted; and

• (b) in paragraph 3 of Schedule 2 (requirements relating to the collection and handling of eggs from laying flocks) for the word “disosed” there shall be substituted the word “disposed”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Poultry Laying Flocks (Testing and Registration etc.) Order 1989. The only change of substance is the omission from that Order of a requirement for the appropriate Minister to make the Laying Flocks Register available for public inspection (article 2(a)).
