The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 26(2) of the Employment Act 1989 [^f00001].

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Skills Training Agency (Designation) (No. 2) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 10th May 1990.

Designation of activities

Each of the activities listed in the Schedule to this Order, being activities for the time being carried on bythe Skills Training Agency, is hereby designated for the purposes of section 26 of the Act.

SCHEDULE — DESIGNATED UNDERTAKINGS

The activities carried on at each of the following Skillcentres:—

Cumbria Skillcentre Glasson Industrial Estate Maryport Cumbria

East Lancs Skillcentre Eagle Street Accrington Lancashire

Ipswich Skillcentre White House Industrial Estate White House Road Ipswich Suffolk

Lambeth Skillcentre Units 13 and 14 Ellerslie Square 11 Lyham Road Lambeth London

St. Helens Skillcentre Bedford Street Parr Industrial Estate St. Helens Merseyside

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates certain activities carried on by the Skills Training Agency for the purposes of section 26 of the Employment Act 1989. These activities are in addition to those designated by the Skills Training Agency (Designation) (No. 1) Order 1990 (S.I. 1990/886).
