Made: 8th May 1991

Coming into force: 9th May 1991

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 102(4) of theFinance (No. 2) Act 1987[^f00001], a draft of this instrument having been laid before, andapproved by a resolution of, the House of Commons, I hereby make thefollowing Order:

This Order may be cited as the Data Protection Registration FeeOrder 1991 and shall come into force on the day after the day on whichit is made.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides that past deficits may be taken into account inthe determination of fees fixed by the Home Secretary for applicationsfor registration and the renewal of registration under the DataProtection Act 1984.
