The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan, shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Council of Norfolk that the new trunk road referred to in article 1 of the A11 Trunk Road (Besthorpe to Wymondham Improvement and Slip Roads) Order 1991[^f00003], is open for through traffic.

This Order shall come into force on 13th August 1991 and may be cited as the A11 Trunk Road (Besthorpe to Wymondham Improvement) Detrunking Order 1991.

SCHEDULE — LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD

The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is between a point 350 metres south west of its junction with the U78280 Station Road and, including, Tuttles Lane Roundabout, a distance of 6.9 kilometres.
