The Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1991
Made: 18th July 1991

Coming into force: 14th October 1991
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33(1) of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984[^f00001], hereby makes the following Order:–

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 14th October 1991.
Divorce county court

- (1) For the purposes of section 33(1) of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984, the Weston Super Mare County Court shall be a divorce county court.
- (2) The amendment set out in the Schedule to this Order shall be made to the Civil Courts Order 1983[^f00002].
SCHEDULE — CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENT
The Civil Courts Order 1983 shall be amended as follows:–
In Schedule 3 against the entry relating to Weston Super Mare there shall be inserted in Column 2:

Explanatory note

This Order amends the Civil Courts Order 1983 by designating the Weston Super Mare County Court as a divorce county court.
