Now, therefore, the Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1(1) and (2) and section 24(1) and (3) of the said Act, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Order:–

Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Poisonous Substances in Cattle) (Wales) (Revocation) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 30th August 1991.

Revocation

2

The Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Poisonous Substances in Cattle) (Wales) Order 1991 is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Poisonous Substances in Cattle) (Wales) Order 1991 which contained emergency prohibitions on various activities in order to prevent human consumption of food derived from cattle which might have ingested polychlorinated biphenyls or other poisonous substances.
