The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 57A of the Adoption Act 1976[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:—

Amendment of regulation 4(2) of the principal Regulations

Regulation 4(2) of the principal Regulations (exceptions from procedure in determining whether an allowance should be paid) shall be amended as follows—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend regulation 4(2) of the Adoption Allowance Regulations 1991 (exceptions from procedure to be followed in determining whether an allowance should be paid) by correcting the reference to “paragraph (i)” in sub-paragraph (a)(i) to “paragraph (1)” and the reference to “adopters” in sub-paragraph (a)(iii) to “agency”.
