The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred by section 11 of and paragraph 9(7)(b) of Schedule 5 to the National Health Service Act 1977[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Health Education Authority (Establishment and Constitution) Amendment Order 1991 and shall come into force on 11th March 1991.

Amendment of Order

(5) The Authority is specified for the purposes of paragraph 9(7)(b) of Schedule 5 to the National Health Service Act 1977.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Health Education Authority (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1987 by specifying the Authority for the purposes of paragraph 9(7)(b) of Schedule 5 to the National Health Service Act 1977. The amendment enables the Secretary of State to pay remuneration to members of the Authority.
