Made: 31st October 1991

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9(2) of the Criminal Procedure (Insanity and Unfitness to Plead) Act 1991[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Criminal Procedure (Insanity and Unfitness to Plead) Act 1991 (Commencement) Order 1991.

The Criminal Procedure (Insanity and Unfitness to Plead) Act 1991 shall come into force on 1st January 1992.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 1st January 1992 the Criminal Procedure (Insanity and Unfitness to Plead) Act 1991.
