The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 18(1) and 24(2) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976[^f00001], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

The fee payable under paragraph 18 of Schedule 3 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976[^f00002] (which relates to permits for the commercial provision of amusements with prizes) shall, instead of £25, be £32.

The Amusements with Prizes (Variation of Fees) (Scotland) Order 1988[^f00003] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which extends to Scotland only, increases from £25 to £32 the fee payable to a local authority or other appropriate authority on the grant or renewal of a permit for amusements with prizes provided under section 16 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.
