The Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) (Scotland) (No.2) Order 1991

Coming into force: 2nd December 1991
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 48(5) and 51(4) of the Gaming Act 1968[^f00001], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) (Scotland) (No.2) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1991.
- (2) This Order shall extend to Scotland only.

Section 48(3)(h) of the Gaming Act 1968[^f00002] (under which the fee to be charged for the grant or renewal of a permit under section 34 of that Act is £25) shall have effect with the substitution, for the sum referred to therein, of a reference to £32.

The Gaming Act (Variation of Fees) (Scotland) Order 1988[^f00003] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order, which extends to Scotland only, increases from £25 to £32 the fee to be charged under the Gaming Act 1968 for the grant or renewal of a permit under section 34 of that Act.
