Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Import and Export (Plant Health Fees) (Forestry) (Great Britain) Order 1990. It prescribes new scales of fees in respect of export certification services and import licensing services in Great Britain, undertaken in connection with applications for phytosanitary certificates and import licences under the Plant Health (Forestry) (Great Britain) Order 1989 (S.I. 1989/823, amended by S.I. 1989/1951 and S.I. 1990/2398). The new scales provide for increases in most fees, reflecting increases in the cost of administering the services since those fees were introduced.
