Made: 4th November 1991

Coming into force: 29th November 1991

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The length of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Council of Warwickshire that the new trunk road is open for through traffic.

This Order shall come into force on 29th November 1991 and may be cited as the A422 Trunk Road (South of Alcester) De-Trunking Order 1991.

THE SCHEDULE — LENGTH OF TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD

The length of trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is that length of the trunk road which runs from a point 275 metres north of Arrow Church southwestwards to its junction with the A435 (Bath to Lincoln Trunk Road) at Arrow in the County of Warwickshire, a distance of approximately 0.38 kilometres measured along that length.
