Made: 15th November 1991

Coming into force: 20th December 1991

In pursuance of paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Dog Racecource Totalisator (Percentage) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 20th December 1991.

A percentage of 29 per cent. is hereby specified for the purposes of sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph 3 of Schedule 5 to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (which relates to the maximum percentage which may be deducted by the operator from amounts staked on a totalisator on a dog racecourse).

The Dog Racecourse Totalisator (Percentage) Order 1980[^f00002] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order has the effect of increasing from 17½ per cent. to 29 per cent. the percentage which the operator of a totalisator on a dog racecourse is permitted to deduct from the amounts staked.
