The Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) (Designated Ports) Order 1991

Coming into force: 2nd December 1991
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 16(3) of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) (Designated Ports) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1991.

In Part I of Schedule 6 to the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisons) Act 1989, there shall be omitted, under the heading “Seaports”, the word “Torquay”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order removes Torquay from the list of seaports designated, for the purposes of paragraph 8 of Schedule 5 to the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisons) Act 1989, in Part I of Schedule 6 to that Act.
