The Collision Regulations (Seaplanes) (Amendment) Order 1991

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 20th day of March 1991 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council Her
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 418(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894[^f00001], as extended by section 97(1) of the Civil Aviation Act 1982[^f00002] and by section 738 of the said Act of 1894, and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, on the joint recommendation of the Secretary of State for Defence and the Secretary of State for Transport[^f00003], and by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, is pleased to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Collision Regulations (Seaplanes) (Amendment) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 19th April 1991.

The Collision Regulations (Seaplanes) Order 1989[^f00004], shall be further amended as follows:

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order further amends the Collision Regulations (Seaplanes) Order 1989 by updating the reference to the Merchant Shipping (Distress Signals and Prevention of Collisions) Regulations 1989 to include a reference to the amendment to those Regulations which comes into force on 19th April 1991.
