The Employment Protection Code of Practice (Time Off) Order 1991
Made: 9th April 1991
Laid before Parliament: 18th April 1991
Coming into force: 13th May 1991
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powerconferred on him by sections 6(5) and (10) and 123 of the Act[^f00002], hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Employment Protection Code ofPractice (Time Off) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 13th May1991.
Appointed day for revised Code of Practice

The revised Code of Practice on time off for trade union duties andactivities issued by the Service under section 6(5) and (10) of the Actshall come into effect on 13th May 1991.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order appoints 13th May 1991 as the day upon which the revisedCode of Practice on time off for trade union duties and activities whichis being issued by the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Serviceunder section 6 of the Employment Protection Act 1975 will come intoeffect.
