The Road Traffic Offenders (Prescribed Devices) Order 1992

Coming into force: 1st July 1992
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 20(9) and (10) of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988[^f00001], I hereby make the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Offenders (Prescribed Devices) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st July 1992.

A device designed or adapted for measuring by radar the speed of motor vehicles is a prescribed device for the purposes of section 20 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order prescribes radar speed detection devices for the purposes of section 20 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988, as substituted by section 23 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
