At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 4th day of June 1992 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Whereas under Article 41 of the Charter of the United Nations the Security Council of the United Nations have, by a resolution adopted on 30th May 1992, called upon Her Majesty’s Government in the United Kingdom and all other States to apply certain measures to give effect to a decision of the Council in relation to Serbia and Montenegro:

Now therefore Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1 of the United Nations Act 1946[^f00001], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

Interpretation

In this Order the following expressions have the meanings hereby respectively assigned to them, that is to say—

is prevented from taking off unless permission to do so has been granted under article 3 of this Order.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, made under the United Nations Act 1946, implements a decision of the Security Council of the United Nations in Resolution No. 757 of 30th May 1992 by prohibiting aircraft from taking off from, landing in or overflying the territories specified in the Schedule, if they are destined for, or have taken off from, Serbia or Montenegro.
