The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16(1), (3)(c) and (8) and 36 of the Plant Varieties and Seeds Act 1964[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf[^f00002], after consultation in accordance with the said section 16(1) with representatives of such interests as appear to them to be concerned, hereby make the following Regulations:

Title and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Fodder Plant Seeds (Amendment) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 5th August 1992.

Amendment of the Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations 1985

The Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations 1985[^f00003] shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations, which further amend the Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations 1985, implement Council Directive 66/401/EEC (OJ No. L125, 11.7.66, p.2298/66) as amended by Commission Directive 92/19/EEC (OJ No. L104, 22.4.92, p.61) by adding Festulolium (a cross between Meadow fescue and Italian Ryegrass) to the Regulations.
