Laid before the House of Commons: 13th May 1992

Coming into force: 1st July 1992

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by paragraph 1 of Schedule 4 to the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with such associations of local authorities as appear to him to be appropriate in accordance with paragraph 2(2) of the said Schedule, and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) (No.2) Order 1992 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is approved by a resolution of the House of Commons.

Revocation

Article 3 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1992 (which previously determined the amount of revenue support grant payable to each local authority in respect of the financial year 1992-93)[^f00002] are hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order redetermines the amount of the revenue support grant payable to each local authority specified in the Schedule to the Order in respect of the financial year 1992-93.

As a consequence, it revokes certain provisions in the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1992 which previously determined such amounts.
