Made: 24th August 1992

Coming into force: 27th August 1992

The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred by section 1 of the Import, Export and Customs Powers (Defence) Act 1939[^f00001] and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 3) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 27th August 1992.

The Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991[^f00003] shall be further amended as follows—

Vacuum or controlled environment (inert gas) induction furnaces capable of operation above 850°C and having induction coils 600 mm (24 in) or less in diameter L, I, S, Y. There are excluded from this entry furnaces designed for the processing of semiconductor wafers.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order further amends the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991 by extending in scope the export control on induction furnaces.
