The National Health Service (District Health Authorities) (No. 3) Order 1992

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 8(1)(b) and (1A)(c) and 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977[^f00001] and of all other powers enabing her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the National Health Service (District Health Authorities) (No. 3) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st October 1992.
Abolition of Authorities

The following District Health Authorities are hereby abolished:—
- (a) Bromsgrove and Redditch Health Authority;
- (b) Kidderminster and District Health Authority.
Establishment and name of new Authority

North Worcestershire Health Authority is established a District Health Authority for North Worcestershire District[^f00002].
Amendment of the National Health Service (District Health Authorities) Order 1990

In consequence of articles 2 and 3 of this Order the National Health Service (District Health Authorities) Order 1990[^f00003] shall be amended by the omission from Part 12 of Schedule 1 of the entries in columns (1) and (2) relating to Bromsgrove and Redditch District and Kidderminster District and the insertion immediately before the entries in that Part relating to Sandwell District of the following entries in columns (1) and (2) respectively:—

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order abolishes on 1st October 1992 the District Health Authorities named in article 2, and establishes the North Worcestershire Health Authority. The National Health Service (District Health Authorities) Order 1990 is amended to reflect these changes.
The changes made to District Health Authorities in this Order are reflected in changes to the districts of the abolished Health Authorities made by the National Health Service (Determination of Districts) (No. 3) Order 1992.
