At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 28th day of October 1992 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 2 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985[^f00001], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

For Schedule 1 to the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1986[^f00003] there shall be substituted the following—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) Order 1986. It adds Poland to the list of the Contracting States to the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction signed at The Hague on 25th October 1980 (Cm 33).
