The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of, as read with paragraph 3 of Schedule 3 to, the Public Expenditure and Receipts Act 1968[^f00001], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Lyon Court and Office Fees (Variation) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st April 1992.

Variation of fees

Schedule B to the Lyon King of Arms Act 1867[^f00002] shall be amended in accordance with article 3 of, and Schedules 1 and 2 to, this Order.

The Lyon Court and Office Fees (Variation) Order 1991[^f00003] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order increases the fees for those matters listed in Schedule B to the Lyon King of Arms Act 1867 which are specified in Schedule 1 to the Order. The fees were last increased in 1991. These fees are exclusive of stamp duty when stamp duty is exigible.

The Order also provides that for those matters listed in Schedule B to the 1867 Act which are specified in Schedule 2 to the Order, fees shall cease to be payable.
