Coming into force

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 99(1) of the Supreme Court Act 1981[^f00001] and by section 2(1) of the County Courts Act 1984[^f00002], hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment No. 4) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st January 1993 except for articles 3 and 4 which shall come into force on 28th January 1993.

A district registry of the High Court shall be established at Salford, which district shall be defined by reference to the district of the Salford County Court.

The Civil Courts Order 1983 shall be further amended as follows.
