Made: 15th December 1992

Coming into force: 21st December 1992

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred by section 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977[^f00001] and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990[^f00002] and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

The change of name under this Order shall not—

and all documents and instruments which refer to the trust under its previous name shall be construed as referring to it under its new name.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order changes the name of an NHS trust established by Order under Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 from the Ashford Hospitals National Health Service Trust to the Ashford Hospital National Health Service Trust and makes consequential amendments to that Order and transitional provisions.
