Made: 18th December 1992

The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 164(3) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990[^f00001], hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Commencement No. 12) Order 1992.

Provision coming into force on 1st January 1993

Section 108(10) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 shall come into force on 1st January 1993.

Provisions coming into force on 1st February 1993

The following provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 shall come into force on 1st February 1993—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 1st January 1993 and 1st February 1993 certain provisions of Part VI of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 relating to the importation, acquisition, release or marketing of genetically modified organisms.
