The Burning of Crop Residues (Repeal of Byelaws) Order 1992
Made: 12th March 1992

Coming into force: 2nd April 1992
Now, therefore, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 152(4) of the said Act, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
Title, extent and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Burning of Crop Residues (Repeal of Byelaws) Order 1992, shall extend to England and Wales and shall come into force on 2nd April 1992.
Repeal of byelaws

All byelaws of local authorities made under section 235(1) of the Local Government Act 1972[^f00003]dealing with the burning of crop residues on agricultural land are hereby repealed.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order repeals, in consequence of the coming into force of the Crop Residues (Restrictions on Burning) (No.2) Regulations 1991, the byelaws of local authorities dealing with the burning of straw, stubble or other crop residues on agricultural land.
